5/29/16 to 6/4/16: 'Down' Week, Not Really

I've got a bit of a mental hang up on trying to hit 100mpw now.  I've got to get over that when I have a race(s) coming up.  Showing up fit and flat is stupid.  I ran less miles this week, but it was still more than I probably should have.  Eh...oh well, it'll be good in the long term.

Since I've got a few race reports to post, I'll just get to the details:

29-May Long Run 2:05:17 16.04 AM: 16 wondering miles.  Found a cool set of trails in Truro, with one crazy steep climb.
Off 0:00:00 0 PM: Oof off.
30-May Easy 0:00:00 0 AM: Rest
Moderate 0:47:35 6.14 PM: 6m.
31-May Easy 1:07:13 8.67 AM: 8+ commute.  Feels like summer.
Harvard Track 1:27:44 11.23 PM: Commute home and to Harvard.  200x2/800/200x4 - all at mileish pace.  Put on the spikes for the 200x4 section.  800 was hard work and I'm simply not sharp heading into the Adrian Martinez Classic.
1-Jun Easy 1:09:26 8.72 AM: 8+ commute at around 8min per.  Trying to squeeze in easy paced miles.
Easy 0:58:23 7.25 PM: 7+ at around 8 per, some with Raleigh.
2-Jun Easy 0:42:10 5.23 AM: 5+ very easy.
Adrian Martinez Classic 0:45:00 5.77 PM: I'm an idiot. Ran 4:56, but ham and egged the third lap, and didn't get to do any effing strides.  Warm up was cut short because…I am an idiot.  Rust buster?
3-Jun Easy 0:46:23 6.2 AM: 6+ at 7:30/mile.
Easy 0:52:00 6.65 PM: 6+ at 7:50/mile.
4-Jun Foxboro Against Diabetes 5k *Pub 1:17:00 9.63 AM: FAD 5k/Pub Series - 5th place in 16:47.  I got out well, but my legs, lungs, and head just couldn't focus.  A mediocre result, but still kind of alright on a very warm and sunny morning.
Easy 0:00:00 0 PM: Alex's HS graduation & a drive to Truro.
