Running Bucket List / Goals

Injury Free Year+
This isn't really a bucket list item, but I feel like it's necessary to put here since it should've been my goal since I started running. It would've made all other goals much more attainable. (Accomplished in 2014)

Sub 3-Hour Marathon 
Injury derailed my hope at training towards this for Boston in 2013, then I failed in 2014. I'm in shape to accomplish this, but I need an ideal day. The heat and the sun are my enemies. (Accomplished in 2015)

Sub 18-minute 5k / Sub 17-minute 5k
A reachable goal, I think (UPDATE: reached in 2013). Then a much longer term, but still hopefully reachable goal. (Accomplished in 2015)

Sub 5-minute mile / Sub 10-minute 2 mile 
One goal I think I'm not that far away from. The other, I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to do. (UPDATE: Sub 5-minute mile reached on 12/20/2014)

5X second 400 meter, 2:XX 800meter 
I have no idea what I'm capable of at either distance. I've run a 60 second 400, and that wasn't a serious attempt at establishing a PR. So once I give both distances a try I'll set up a long term (perhaps unreachable) goal.

50k / 50 miler / 100 miler 
At some point I would like to complete races in each of these distances. I think it will take quite some time, though, in order to build my body up to the point where it can withstand that type of pounding.

100 Mile Week 
Similar to the long distance races -. I think it will take quite some time in order to build my body up to the point where it can withstand that type of pounding. (First accomplished during Boston 2014 buildup - 101.79)
