What I am referring to is my weekly mileage, which reached a new high of 90.94.
After setting a new high water mark last week of 81.14, I figured the best way to follow that up was by keeping the pedal to the floor. Both weeks have featured quite a bit of quality as well, so I feel very good about where I am at right now. It would be nice if it weren't in the snow and the freezing cold. And it would be nice if my Fresh Pond race/tempo runs didn't feel like such a slog...but whatever. I'm healthy and running hard.
THE NUMBAZ!
2-Feb | Long Run | 0:07:39 | 20.27 | Very hilly route. Never felt great, but gutted it out for a solid run.
3-Feb | Easy/Easy | 0:07:40 | 11.12 | Noon: Running in the snow… 5pm: Running in the snow… |
||||
4-Feb | MLR Tempo | 0:07:24 | 10.20 | Really poor footing, so the time doesn't quite reflect the effort. Felt more like low 7's.
5-Feb | Moderate/Moderate | 0:07:37 | 15.4 | Noon: 7.4 treadmiles PM: 8 treadmiles |
||||
6-Feb | Easy/Intervals | 19.21 | AM: Unintended double. Car
trouble = 4m. PM: 800/(400/800/400)x2/2000/200x2 Interval workout was tough since I was basically at ~14m for the day before getting started. Running hard on tired legs is good though. |
