1/26 to 2/1: Quality & Quantity

This was a pretty freaking exhausting week...

Data!
26-Jan Long Run 0:07:34 18.01 Miles 8-15 averaged 7:09/mile. Freezing out, very happy with the effort.
27-Jan Recovery 0:08:20 8.12 Noon: Major slog. Had to stop for a minute as I was out of breath, even at that pace.
6pm: Easy around the Charles. Legs are tired.
28-Jan Intervals 12.75 400x10 at mile pace. Ran home from work, then over to the track to get in mileage.
29-Jan Easy/ 0:07:50 10.11 8am: 4m easy to work
5pm: 6m home after dropping the car off w/Eli
30-Jan Intervals 17.7 800/1200x4/400x2 - kind of felt like a standard workout. Didn't feel easy, but wasn't crazy hard. LOTS of miles though.
31-Jan Recovery/ 0:07:50 8.36 AM: 4m to work. Legs were stiff
PM: 4+ around the Charles at a decent clip.
1-Feb Fresh Pond 2-Lapper 0:06:12 6.09 30:09, only 3 secods off of my PR and at the end of an 80 mile week…I'll take it!

AVG 1:14.05

Thursday Night Splits
800-2:43.20
1200-4:08.10
1200-4:12.36
1200-4:17.73
1200-4:12.38
400-1:17.40
400-1:11.06

Fresh Pond really felt pretty crappy, so to come within 3 seconds of my 2-lapper PR is pretty solid. Thursday night was also a very good and very tough night of training. Getting in a MLR then doing 1200's, and hitting 17+ for the evening is something I'd love to try and replicate a few more times. We'll see...anyways this was a great week of marathon training.

Total Miles: 81.14 (a new weekly high)
