Even while missing those workouts, I think I'm still heading in the right direction. It really sucked having to reduce my mileage last week, but I'm back feeling healthier and that's more important. I've still had some good tempos recently as well, so hopefully those translate to the 5 miler.
One other thing to add - getting in an 18 miler felt great.
